Review: Malachi's Harvest Gourmet Granola

Dear Foodies,

Today is a very important day.

Why?

Because today is the day I do my first ever GIVEAWAY!

I have ONE 8 0z. bag of Malachi's Harvest Gourmet Granola, to give away to ONE winner. Just leave a comment on this post to enter your name in the drawing. I will announce the winner on Friday @ noon. You have until that point to enter. One comment per person please.

Now my review.

First thoughts, lots of nuts. You know I'm a rather nutty guy... I really liked the maple taste and that the nuts were softer than normal. I also enjoyed the large coconut flakes. It brings back memories of having the same in our home made granola. We just have the small flakes now... : )

One thing that I thought was especially different was the fact that it had much less grain than any granola I have ever had before. Now I wouldn't say that is a negative at all. I actually really liked the way it was more solid than a typical granola.

There you go! My first ever giveaway/new product review. Make sure to enter before this Friday at noon.

Benjamin Serven, Foodie

P.S. You can buy your own granola directly from Malachi's Harvest here.
P.P.S. I will only be shipping to address's in the USA.

  3. SRL,

I think you will have to come pick it up... : ) I'll ship it unless you just happened to stop by.

Actually I took the photos. At least the two that I wasn't in. LightRoom presets work pretty well ; )

  5. I'll go ahead and enter -- this is the first time I've put my name in on a blog giveaway. This granola sounds good. I made homemade granola a couple weeks ago and found the cooking time on the recipe a bit long. It was over-done! If Canada is too far, I can give you my parents' address in the USA. (If my name is selected, that is!) If I don't win, I guess I'll have to try again with the homemade granola. :)

  6. Sorry Nicole, I did forget about my European readers.

I'll make an exception with family though. They do live in CA, so they aren't exactly local... : )

  11. Stephen Madgwick---I may be competing against young, single women, but IF it truly is a straight statistic and the foodie is as neutral as his review, I reckon it'll be worth a shot for GOURMET granola.

  12. Count the Hall Clan in! As well Do you get to Trader Joes much? If so maybe you can jot a list of your favs from the Trader Joes store. We are not close to one but next week a Ortho trip into IL will have us within a couple miles from one! So we would love an updated scoop on some great products there! Tammi Hall & Family

  15. Hey Ben, unless having a Roach in your house counts us out, please count the Roach family in the drawing. And then if you sent it home with Meg, it would save on shipping, right? :)

    Have fun at Liberty Day!
