I did notice that you can't count.

Sounds like a tasty meal. And ditto - I agree that a nice salad would complement just about any meal.

And as for the unidentifiable cheese sauce, it may not have been a cheese sauce at all. Perhaps it was Thousand Island dressing, a traditional addition to the Reuben sandwich.

- Another foodie, trying to curb back my appetite for fine foods a bit after having cooked for 50 people (and therefore, of course, most definitely taste tested) for two weeks straight.

I think I didn't cook it long enough. I was thinking about it later, and I was comparing it to a cream sauce (which I can make fairly well, thank you very much). It had started boiling slightly, and I had had it on for quite some time. So I figured I'd just have to put it in the fridge and hope it came out well. :) It didn't. :(

I am pretty sure I had the large pearl. Oh, I just remembered one other thing. I didn't have as much tapioca as the recipe called for. So I just put in what I had. I didn't think it would affect it.
